YouthBuild International has established a Licensing and Affiliation process that provides implementing organizations with:
Quality Assurance Tools—The licensing process ensures that the YouthBuild name represents integrity, transparency, effectiveness, and high quality.
Program Design and Performance Standards are established nationally with involvement and input from local young people, staff from implementing NGOs, staff from the Licensed National Intermediary, and YouthBuild International.
Peer Learning Network—the YouthBuild International Network links effective organizations and institutions from around the world into a “learning community” in a unified approach to youth engagement and community development. The peer exchange from this network is invaluable to maintaining high quality, high performing programs and in sustaining these programs over time.
Access to International Resources—Licensed YouthBuild programs are able to jointly seek resources to support programs from bi-lateral, multi-lateral, and national donors.
Knowledge Development—The Network supports the development, documentation, and dissemination of effective practices, sustainability strategies, institutional capacity building tools, and policy advancement that supports both YouthBuild programs and the youth sector broadly.
